California State May Legalize Cannabis In 2016

In 1996, the state passed the Compassionate Use Act, which permitted physician-recommended cannabis use for medical treatment. While California is no stranger to legalized medical marijuana, out of all of the states voting to Legalize Cannabis recreational use, it probably has the highest odds to pass it. Governor Jerry Brown recently signed in three new laws to help set up a proper structure that could pave the way for legalization.
